Château PLATON ROSÉ - The vineyard

                                        Bordeaux rosé

With an average age of 15 years and spread out over 1.7 hectares, the plots allow us to craft Chateau PLATON.  The parcels are located in the area of Sainte Radegonde on a 116 meter high plateau made up of a clay and limestone soil.

The grape variety proportions are the following: Sauvignon Blanc 70%, Muscadelle 30% with a plantation density of 5000 plants per hectare.  Our traditional method of agriculture ensures the preservation of the environment.

After the pruning of January, the binding and folding of the canes, the de-budding and leaf thinning are undertaken each year with quality of the future wine as the objective.   Our yield is around 60 hl per hectare that permits us to obtain a perfect maturity and concentration.
